Senior Technical Support (SQL/C#)

In this role you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of their platform and also deployment of new features and enhancements. You will be customer focused with a real focus on succeeding expectations. If you want a hybrid support/development role, then this one’s for you!

Wider Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Root Cause Analysis (debugging) of Problems and their timely escalation, where required.
  • Implementing suitable identified application solutions to Problems using SQL and C#.
  • Conducting Technical analysis of Change requirements to identify suitable technical solutions and enhancements.
  • Development of agreed Customer Change Controls using Visual Studio, VSTS, SQL and C#.
  • Creation of test cases and testing against company standards to ensure high quality code.
  • Conducting monthly solution releases to deploy new features/enhancements to the Live Environment.
  • Driving to automate the fulfilment of customer requests via effective software solutions to improve efficiencies.
  • Communicating with users regarding issues, investigations and updates.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in technical support.
  • At least 2 years' software development.
  • Experience of applying development best practices across multiple layers of a web application.
  • Exposure to technologies such as Microsoft C#, T-SQL, jQuery and Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio.
