Interview Tips
1. Preparation is key! Make sure you do your research. Read up on the company; visit their website, research what projects they are involved in etc.
2. Arrival First impressions count – dress appropriately and aim to arrive at least 10 minutes early.
3. Difficult questions Try not to panic should you encounter a difficult question, feel free to pause before making your answers.
4. Be positive! – Bad mouthing a previous employer or being negative about your current role never comes across well!
5. No fidgeting! Interviews can be a nervous experience but rubbing your chin, twirling your hair etc. makes you look like you’re lacking confidence or worse – lying!
6. End of Interview Questions At the end of every interview it is important to ask some questions about your possible employer – it shows that you are interested in the job.
