Senior M&E Resident Engineer – Water

Opportunity for a Senior Resident Engineer with Water expertise in a Client based role located in the West / North West, reviewing, advising and supervising MEICA Project installations.

Due to ongoing contract awards, our Global Clients have a requirement for Senior Resident Engineers (M&E) to join their team and supervise Water Treatment Plant upgrade Projects in the Mayo / Galway region.

To be considered, you should be able to demonstrate previous experience in either the design, construction or commissioning of MEICA Projects at typical Water facilities, such as Pumping Stations, upgrade of Water Treatment Plants etc.

Desired experience:

• At least 10 years’ Postgraduate experience, with 7 years’ industry experience in site supervision, contract administration and project management of MEICA works on water engineering projects.
• A Degree in a related discipline, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering works, Mechanical & Electrical Works, design build operate projects and project management.
• Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
• Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts, experience in FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract would be advantageous, but not essential.
• A current and valid SafePass card and Confined Spaces training.

You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work within a team at all times.
