Assistant Project Manager – Construction

As Assistant Project Manager you will join a team of Project and Cost Management professionals delivering a large portfolio to private and public sector clients. The Belfast office is at the forefront of national delivery to the Development, Commercial Property, Construction and Public sectors with a high profile and strong reputation for delivering high quality services.

Based in a Belfast City Centre location you will join an established team that will offer a balance of autonomy and support, career development and progression in line with your current experience and career path as well as excellent salary and benefits.

As Assistant Project Manager you will:

• Provide high quality project and programme management support.
• Support in the leadership of a multi-disciplinary professional team.
• Assist with communications and relationships with your client and their stakeholders.
• Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers etc.
• Implement effective and efficient communication tools.
• Positively contribute to the internal team and seek to add value.
• Support the client relationship and service delivery on a commission or project basis in conjunction with senior colleagues.
• Assist with generating repeat business and developing new business opportunities.
• Be diligent, efficient and pay great attention to detail to deliver quality project support and outputs.
• Support colleagues on large scale complex projects.

To be considered for this Assistant Project Manager role you will have:

• A degree in construction management, civil engineering or other construction related discipline.
• Experience in a similar construction related role either as a placement or graduate position.
• Technical project management knowledge demonstrating experience and aptitude.
• Understanding of Health Safety and Environmental legislation relevant to the business within the UK construction industry.
• A positive and innovative approach and the ability to work on own initiative.
