Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for the technical leadership of a team of developers designing, building and testing their next generation of Customer solutions.

Wider responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for taking technical ownership of decisions and direction in a collaborative team environment, including architecture, estimation, work allocation, product planning, user story / requirement creation.
  • Advise on the estimated effort and technical implications of user stories, identify innovative technical solutions that meet user needs and agree functional and non-functional design.
  • Play a pivotal role in the timely and efficient completion of coding, testing, debugging and deployment of the Customer solutions that they are responsible for.
  • Motivate and mentor members of the team and actively promote and participate in knowledge sharing activities.

 Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in building solutions using  technologies such as Microsoft C#, ASP.Net, WebAPI 2, T-SQL, jQuery, Angular (or related JavaScript frameworks), Visual Studio and SQL Management StudioRewards.
  • Experience with the Agile development process and be familiar with modern version control and continuous integration and deployment techniques.
  • Experience of applying development best practices.
  • Expertise in leading a team of developers, designing, building, testing and maintaining modern web based software applications while working to challenging timelines.
