Data Systems and Compliance Officer

As the Data Systems and Compliance Officer, you will be joining one of Northern Ireland’s largest Public Bodies where you will undertake a supporting role to the Contract & Framework Department, reporting to the Senior Programme Manager for Frameworks. You will be responsible for managing systems and compliance to ensure monthly and quarterly reporting is completed and relevant process adhered to.

As Data Systems and Compliance Officer your new role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Custom Power BI data reporting.
• Chasing up on data irregularities with Project teams.
• Updating and developing Power BI and SharePoint system and SharePoint lists to improve efficiencies, including through the use of Power Automate.
• Managing SharePoint environment – not IT platform, just user front end.
• Ensure department compliance of system process and update process as required.
• Managing FastDraft environment – contract management bespoke software.
• Undertaking project management of new systems and compliance related projects associated with the role.
• Assisting with data analysis at a project and programme level as required.
• Perform duties in accordance with Statutory and Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and management systems.
• Represent company at meetings with internal and external bodies in relation to your areas of responsibility and to ensure that corporate policy is followed in the decision/action taken regarding the outcome of such interaction.
• Ensure that all documentation is managed in accordance with company records management requirements.
• Ensure appropriate consideration is given to the organisations equality duties as well as specific commitments associated with your job role.

To be considered for this role you will have:

Essential

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an information systems, information management or data analysis role.
• Ability to work with users providing support and confidence in working with complex information systems.
• Experience in managing SharePoint – front end, developing Power BI reports and utilising Power Automate.

Desirable

• Experience in working within a project environment.
• Experience in managing compliance in process.
• Experience in managing bespoke Database type applications.
