Administrator – Construction

As a result of continued success and steady growth, our Newry based Client requires an Administrator to join a leading name in the manufacture and installation of fencing and gate systems. The purpose of this role is to support the Sales and Estimating Department and staff, with invoicing and general computer duties within the construction supply chain.

Flexible Hybrid hours will offer a balance of work from home and office. The role can lend itself to full time or part time, but will require a minimum of 3 days commitment from you, and this can be a mix of office and home working. This is a great opportunity for someone who needs the flexibility to have the right work/life balance.

Some of your duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Liaising and working collaboratively with site based and office staff to review information and deal with requests for information on a daily basis.
• Gathering and preparing documents and risk assessments, and other necessary and relevant documents, and forwarding them to the appropriate management or personnel.
• Assist and support Project Managers with quotations, matching despatch dockets to orders, creating invoices.
• Answering customer calls and queries when necessary and filtering to the appropriate team.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• 3 years’ administration support experience.
• At least GCSE grades B in English and Maths.
• Proficient in all Microsoft packages, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• The successful candidates for this role must be punctual, well presented and have fantastic customer service skills.
• Be able to work methodically and prioritise work load under pressure, and meet targets.

It would be desirable if you also had:

• Previous construction administration experience.
• Experience in typing quotations.
• Experience of Health and Safety compliance, and producing RAMS would be beneficial.
• Other computerised business management system exposure.

Salary: Negotiable (Dependant on experience)
