Digital Construction Lead (BIM / REVIT)

As Digital Construction Lead you will, in conjunction with both academic and industry supervisors, lead the development of digital competencies and communication, using BIM / REVIT, virtual and augmented reality within the construction sector. Based in East Belfast You will be joining one of Belfast’s leading Architectural and Engineering Consultancy firms, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering projects throughout Northern Ireland and the UK. This will include reviewing the market along with the associated hardware and software available, followed by developing in-house expertise in the execution of a digital agenda.

As Digital Construction Lead your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Coordinate designers in a more efficient manner using digitally enhanced solutions e.g BIM 360, Augmented Reality (AR) & Virtual Reality (VR).
• Implement processes and procedures throughout the office.
• Rollout in-house training scheme.

Key attributes as Digital Construction Lead:

• Degree in a construction related built environment subject.
• Experience of working within the construction sector.
• Experience of working with Revit and/or other similar modelling software.
• Awareness of virtual and/or augmented reality hardware and software.
• Legally permitted to work in the UK.

Desirable Criteria:

• Proficient in the use of virtual and/or augmented reality hardware and software.
• A detailed knowledge of process development and implementation.
• Experience of all Design Construction Stages. (RIBA 1-7 or equivalent)
• Full Drivers License and access to Vehicle.
