Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will join a leading Engineering Consultancy firm, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering water projects. Based remotely, with some travel to Irish Water / Uisce Eireann offices, you will work on Data management & Data Analysis projects for Uisce Eireann’s Leakage Reduction Programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Data Analyst you will undertake the following duties:

• Data management & Data Analysis of large volumes of data through Excel/PowerBI/Maximo.
• Progression of works instructions for Regional Contractor and management of payment for same through Maximo.
• Reporting on spend & outputs versus monthly/yearly targets.
• General administrative tasks associated with the delivery of a large Capital Delivery Programme.
• Project management of/assisting PM’s to manage specific projects/elements of the overall programme.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Applicants must have a degree or post graduate qualification in Computer Sciences, Engineering or Environmental discipline.
• Good project management and client communication skills.
• Sound understanding of data management and data analytics techniques and principles using Excel, Power BI.
• Be able to work effectively under pressure, to deadlines and as part of a team.
• Good analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Desired:

• Experience of working within a consultancy environment would be advantageous but not essential.
• Keen interest in environmental practices, water improvements.
