As Quantity Surveyor you will join a Public Body team tasked with delivering track renewals, permanent way and signaling projects across Northern Ireland. If you have gained experience on NEC Civil Engineering projects and would like the opportunity to develop your skills within the rail industry, our client will provide an excellent platform for training and career development.
Based in Belfast and offering flexible arrangements for working from home, you will join a team of Quantity Surveyors providing cost and contract management services to support construction project planning and delivery including cost estimation, preparation of tender documentation, cost/value management, contract management and performance measurement for projects in Northern Ireland.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will also develop and maintain templates for construction works and services, procurement and contract management, prepare and assure budget cost estimates and whole life costs. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will work closely with and support project teams in managing cost/value and resolution of contractual disputes.

To be considered for this NEC Civil Quantity Surveying role you will have a Quantity Surveying or other relevant Construction Management Degree, a minimum of 5 years industry experience as well as possessing Chartered Surveyor status or eligible for enrolment for Chartered Surveyor APC with RICS or ICES.
